Braiswick Photographic has been a pioneer in the school photography industry since the sixties, we can now announce we are one of the first school photographers to become carbon neutral.
We recognise the impact climate change is having across the world currently and the risks of further damage being done. As a company we have a responsibility to ensure our own emissions are not just offset but reduced, which is why we are committed to reducing our CO2 emissions by 20% over the next 12 months.

Braiswick Photographic, established in 1965, is a nationwide, family run company with two regional offices specialising in all aspects of school photography from pre-school groups to sixth form colleges.
Having decades of experience within school photography, our team is committed to providing outstanding customer service. This ensures that we control every step of the process in house; from the moment we take your pictures, through to editing, printing and finally packing your prints. The end result is fantastic photos delivered to you with minimum involvement for the school and great value for the parents.
With your help we have been raising money for Cancer Research UK since 2015. In 2021 we reached our goal of £350,000. Due to the success of this we have increased our target and with your continued support we are looking to raise £500,000 for this incredible charity. For every order of our Anniversary pack received, we donate 50p to this worthwhile cause.
We are continually experimenting with new and existing photographic techniques and styles, allowing us to offer you a fully comprehensive choice of packs. Whether you need individual photographs or a photograph of the entire school we can offer you the service and pack that best expresses your school.
Unlike other school photography services, we will send a member of our own staff to collect order envelopes rather than a courier. This ensures that we know exactly where your orders are at all times and guarantees a speedy arrival to our office for the fulfilment of orders. No more sorting, packaging up for a courier or taking a trip to the post office.
Update your schools system with current photographs of your students with ease. Our dedicated software will automatically attach each student photograph as it is being taken to their record. We can support all database systems and in most cases you will be able to load the information into your system on the same day of take! Furthermore, for those of you using SIMS, we are a Capita accredited company, meaning we can apply for auto import licences on your behalf, saving you money and time.

We understand that parents and guardians are busy, and having the option to order their photos online is important. With this in mind we provide a secure online ordering platform in addition to our personal school collection service.
As well as our extensive range of traditional and contemporary products for parents, we offer an exciting range of promotional products including roller banners, activity boards and bespoke staff boards for your school.
Processing and printing of all images is completed using a digital laboratory situated at our Manningtree office. This department is operated by a team of experienced technical staff giving us the opportunity to maintain a high level of quality control at every stage of production, providing our customers with the highest quality images.

We provide Proof of Age and Security ID Cards for school and business use. Proof of Age Cards are provided in conjunction with various Trading Standards Departments for 16+ students.
We have been specialising in ID badges since 1998, establishing ourselves in supplying the education industry such as Schools and Colleges. We have been working hard to gain trust in creating durable, clear and secure identification for professionals in all industries. We now produce ID cards for the NHS, Private Health Care Authorities, Councils, Proof of Age schemes and a range of corporate businesses.
If you’re looking for a professional ID, then we will take care of everything from taking your photographs, designing your ID card and printing using the latest industry leading technology. These cards are produced using the dye-sublimation/resin thermal transfer print method onto high quality cards making them tamper proof.
Other uses can include library cards, travel passes, club membership and loyalty/discount schemes. We offer a full design service or can easily work from your own artwork. We are happy to produce large or small runs and will provide prices on request.
We supply everything from lanyards to magnetic clips to really make your ID badges stand out. Different colour lanyards can be provided to match your corporate image, along with ID holders complete with clips, both plastic and magnetic. All lanyards are supplied with safety breakaway clasps.
Cards are 85.6mm x 54mm x 1mm (credit card size) PVC. 300dpi print resolution using up to 16.7 million colours and a clear protective overlay. Quality control checks all cards before dispatch.
Our photographers and ID staff are DBS checked and our ID Department complies with GDPR legislation.

In the event of the Company supplying incorrect prints/products (examples of which can include quantity, size and subject but not limited to these) we will attempt to rectify the situation in the first instance by telephone enquiry, email or photographic evidence. Should these steps prove inconclusive we may request that incorrect prints/products are returned to us for further investigation.
We will always aim to resolve any dispute to the satisfaction of all parties in the shortest timespan possible either by replacement of prints/products or a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
Any errors or omissions should be brought to the attention of the Company within 14 days of receipt of the order.
Replacements can, but refunds cannot be provided for images supplied by email or on CD except in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the Managing Director.

Photographs are Kept for 24 months.
You can place an order for a period of 24 months from the date of take. However orders placed after the cut off date will incur a £4 admin fee.
For an individual photograph: Please contact your school and ask them to provide you with the *Barcode & passcode of your childs image/class. Once you have this you will be able place your order online at www.braiswick.co.uk/orders.
For a group / class photograph: Please contact us by e-mail at customerservice@braiswick.co.uk with the full name and address of the school, together with your child’s name and class, and we will produce a duplicate proof card to be sent to the school to be passed on to you. Due to child safeguarding issues, we are unable to send proof cards to home addresses or give out barcodes and passcodes via e-mail or telephone.
For child safeguarding reasons, we are unable to take telephone orders. Please place your order online using the barcode and passcode printed on your proof card.
Due to copyright and business reasons, we do not offer this option.
Each proof card has a unique reference number specific to that particular photograph and due to our automated printing process it is not possible to mix and match proof cards to make a bespoke order. All of the packs available for each barcode are printed on the proof card and we are unable to print photographs outside of this criteria. Should you wish to purchase a bespoke pack, or a different size photograph, please consider the CD/E-mail option, for individual photographs only.
Yes, providing all proof cards are from the same school/day of take.
Email images are automatically generated so you will receive a separate email per image.
It is not possible to edit an order once placed. Providing the order has not been printed we can cancel your order to enable you to place a new one. Please telephone us on 01206 399800 with your order number and we will process a refund.

E-mail image: A link to download your photograph will be received within 2 working days of placing your order subject to business days to the e-mail address supplied when setting up your customer account.
Internet orders: Orders placed before the return to school by date printed on the proof card are held on our system until all of the orders returned via the school are collected. All orders are then printed, packed and returned to the school by courier as a main school order. All school orders are dispatched within 21 days of the return to school by date. Please check with your school before contacting us.
Orders placed after the return to school by date are printed the day after the order is placed and sent directly to home addresses. Please allow 15 working days for these orders to be received. If you have not received your photographs after this time please check with your local sorting office before contacting us to see whether they are holding your order if they have been unable to deliver it.
All orders placed before the return to school by date are processed and packed together and sent by courier to the school, absorbing the cost of postage and packing. All orders placed after this date are processed and packed individually and sent by Royal Mail to home addresses thus incurring the additional £4 fee.
A letter was sent along with delivery of your proof cards. This will have given you details to log in to our secure website. Once logged in you will need to find the child in question and underneath the image will be a barcode and passcode. This is what you need to pass on to the parent for them to place an order online.
