Braiswick Photographic, established in 1965, is a nationwide, family run company with two regional offices specialising in all aspects of school photography from pre-school groups to sixth form colleges.
We employ a dedicated team of regionally based photographers who are highly trained in the techniques needed to provide the wide range of products offered by the company. Our team are all DBS checked at enhanced level and coached in safe guarding best practices.
We provide Proof of Age and Security ID Cards for school and business use. Proof of Age Cards are provided in conjunction with various Trading Standards Departments for 16+ students.

We are subject to certain rules and privacy laws when marketing to our customers. For example, a Data Subject’s prior consent is required for electronic direct marketing (for example, by email, text or automated calls). Subject Access requests from individuals should be made by verbal/email, addressed to the Data Controller, Debbie Crees at email@example.com or 01206 399800. The Data Controller can supply a standard request form, although individuals do not have to use this.
The Data Controller will provide the relevant data within 28 days.
The identity of anyone making a subject access request will always be verified before handing over any information.
Braiswick Online orders website has a SHA-256 SSL certificate provided by Symantec Corporation (known for the Norton Antivirus).
When you have placed your order and are required to make payment, you are transferred to the SagePay.com site, which means we do not process your financial information and therefore are not able to store it. Your payment, using SagePay.com system, is transacted through Secure Server Software, which encrypts all information so it cannot be intercepted.
We are constantly reviewing the encryption methods and level of our digital files that are required to be transferred. We use security software to test our network for vulnerabilities. Schools data is stored on a closed network with no outside connection to prevent cyber attacks. Wired and wireless network intrusion are tested every school term, network infrastructure is evaluated for hardware renewal if standard is not met. Any faults are reported and addressed immediately.
Personal data in the European Union is protected by data protection laws but other countries do not necessarily protect your personal data in the same way.
Personal data used by Braiswick Photographic Co Ltd should never be transferred outside of the European Economic Area.

In the event of the Company supplying incorrect prints/products (examples of which can include quantity, size and subject but not limited to these) we will attempt to rectify the situation in the first instance by telephone enquiry, email or photographic evidence. Should these steps prove inconclusive we may request that incorrect prints/products are returned to us for further investigation.
We will always aim to resolve any dispute to the satisfaction of all parties in the shortest timespan possible either by replacement of prints/products or a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
Any errors or omissions should be brought to the attention of the Company within 14 days of receipt of the order.
Replacements can, but refunds cannot be provided for images supplied by email or on CD except in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the Managing Director.
Please click on the link to “Order School Photos”. Enter the barcode and passcode of the photograph which you will find printed on your proof card. Please note passcodes are case sensitive. Then click on “Find Image”.
Photographs are held on record for approximately one year after the day of take.

For an individual photograph: Please contact your school and ask them to provide you with the unique reference number underneath the thumbnail image of your child on the disc left with them on the day of take. Please then contact us by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with this number and we will be able to produce a duplicate proof card to be sent to the school to be forwarded on to you. Due to child safeguarding issues, we are unable to send proof cards to home addresses or give out barcodes and passcodes via e-mail or telephone.
For a group / class photograph: Please contact us by e-mail at email@example.com with the full name and address of the school, together with your child’s name and class, and we will produce a duplicate proof card to be sent to the school to be passed on to you. Due to child safeguarding issues, we are unable to send proof cards to home addresses or give out barcodes and passcodes via e-mail or telephone.
For child safeguarding reasons, we are unable to take telephone orders. Please place your order online using the barcode and passcode printed on your proof card.
Due to copyright and business reasons, we do not offer this option.
Each proof card has a unique reference number specific to that particular photograph and due to our automated printing process it is not possible to mix and match proof cards to make a bespoke order. All of the packs available for each barcode are printed on the proof card and we are unable to print photographs outside of this criteria. Should you wish to purchase a bespoke pack, or a different size photograph, please consider the CD/E-mail option, for individual photographs only.
Yes, providing all proof cards are from the same school/day of take.
Due to our automated printing process this is not possible. Each CD has the purchased copyright image printed on the front and therefore we produce a separate CD for each order placed.
It is not possible to edit an order once placed. Providing the order has not been printed we can cancel you order to enable you to place a new one. Please telephone us on 01206 399800 with your order number and we will process a refund.

E-mail image: A link to download your photograph will be received within 2 working days of placing your order subject to business days to the e-mail address supplied when setting up your customer account.
Internet orders: Orders placed before the return to school by date printed on the proof card are held on our system until all of the orders returned via the school are collected. All orders are then printed, packed and returned to the school by courier as a main school order. All school orders are dispatched within 21 days of the return to school by date. Please check with your school before contacting us.
Orders placed after the return to school by date are printed the day after the order is placed and sent directly to home addresses. Please allow 15 working days for these orders to be received. If you have not received your photographs after this time please check with your local sorting office before contacting us to see whether they are holding your order if they have been unable to deliver it.
Please return your photographs to us at Braiswick Photographic Co. Ltd, Wesley House, Cattawade, Manningtree, Essex CO11 1RJ together with a covering letter explaining the reason for the return, including your address and daytime telephone number. We will re-print your order and return it to your home address within 14 working days of receipt.
All orders placed before the return to school by date are processed and packed together and sent by courier to the school, absorbing the cost of postage and packing. All orders placed after this date are processed and packed individually and sent by Royal Mail to home addresses thus incurring the additional £4 fee.
